Student's Loss While Swimming.
A cry of "Mother!" was raised By Sidney Kimpton, 16 of no occupation, living in Boleyn-road, Dalston, when being removed from the dock at North London police court on Monday, remanded on a charge of stealing two watches, a chain, a ring, and cash, value in all £10, the property of a South Hackney student.
It was stated that the latter undressed in a box by the side of Hackney Swimming Bath, and on leaving the water after a swim saw a lad, alledged to be Kimpton, leave the box. On reaching the box he found his clothes on the floor, and his valuables missing.
