... One of the lads was also charged with stealing cigarettes and chocolate valued at 1.10s. from a shop in Church-street, Ormskirk, and also with stealing 1/6 from the Regal Cinema.
Thomas McLoughlin, aged 18, of Park-avenue, Aughton-street, Ormskirk, was also charged in these two cases.
McLoughlin was fined £2, and given a month to pay.
The father promised not to assist his son with the payments.
