ARUNDEL

BOYS IN TROUBLE.--At the borough bench, on Tuesday, before the Mayor (Alderman Roberts), and Councillor Bartlett, Harry Northeast and Geo. Perry, boys, pleaded guilty, the former to stealing a china ornament, value 1s. the property of Mr. William Kimpton, who keeps a toy shop in High-street and the latter to receiving it.--Defendants on the 8th inst., were in prosecutor's shop, and after they left his assistant missed a china ornament (a pig).--Allan Blackman, 8 stated that on the 8th inst., he was with defendant, and went with Norteast into prosecutor's shop, Perry staying outside. Northeast took the ornament, and when he came out, gave it to Perry. Northeast told him before they went to the shop that he was going to steal something.--The Mayor having reprimanded defendants, they were ordered to receive four strokes of the birch rod.

ACCIDENT.—Mr. Kimpton, of High-Street, met with a serious accident on Monday. He had been up to the ? and was descending the stairs—an awkward flight—when he slipped and fell, dislocating his ankle and breaking the bone just above
