DEVONPORT MAN AT U.S. COLLEGE

' Exchange Student '

Son of a Devonport Dockyard fitter, 21-year-old Mr. Sydney Raymond Hatch of 123 Penross-road, St. Budeaux, is at present in Viginia, U.S.A., studying as an exchange student at the College of William and Mary. He would like eventually to become a University professor.

Mr. Hatch is a former pupil of Devonport High School, from where he obtained a scholarship to University College of the South-West, Exeter.

He is delighted with the welcome he has received in America. "It has been better than I had ever imagined," he says.
