The funeral took place at Higher St. Budeaux Parish Church on Tuesday of Mr. Edwin Tom Kimpton, for over 20 years an active worker for the Coservative cause, both in Tavistock Division and at Devonport. Mr. Kimpton was vice-chairman of the St. Budeaux Conservative Association for many years.
There was a large attendance at the ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. R. J. R. Skipper (vicar), the bearers being deceased's old colleagues of the Conservative Association.
