IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL AT LYDIATE
THE LATE MRS. C. KERFOOT
Impressive scenes were witnessed at the Church of Our Lady (R.C.), Lydiate, on Monday, when the funeral took place of Mrs. Catherine Kerfoot, of 4 Moss Lane Lydiate, who died at the Ormskirk County Hospital the preceding Friday at the age of 66 years.
Mrs. Kerfoot was well known throughout the district being of an amiable disposition and keenly interested in Church work. Her husband predeceased her six years ago. Mrs. Kerfoot leaves a grown up family to whom much sympathy is extended.
Requiem Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Speakman, and the chief mourners were: Mr. Joseph Kerfoot, Mr. John Kerffot, Mr. Frank Kerfoot, Mr. Thomas Kerfoot (sons); Mrs W. Winrow, Miss Sparks Kerfoot (daughters); Mrs. P. Tootle (sister); Mr J. McLoughlin, Mr. T. McLoughlin, Mr. M. McLoughlin (brothers); Mr. W. Winrow, Mrs. J. Kerfoot, Mrs. F. Kerfoot (son and daughters-in-law); Mrs B. Kerfoot, Mr. F. Kerfoot, Mr. C. Kerfoot, Mr. S. Kerfoot. Mr. J. Slater (grandchildren), Mr Joe Greaves, Mr. Reginald Winstanley, Mr. Brady, Mr Coleman, Mr. Sparks, Mr P. McLoughlin (nephews); Mrs. Winstanley, Mrs. Brady, Mrs Spencer (nieces); Mr. and Mrs. H.
