KIMPTON MARRIED AT RYE

Two well-known Methodist workers in Rye, Miss Hetty Winifred Oadgham, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W Padgham, of "Houghton," Playden, and Mr. Donald Jack Kimpton, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Kimpton, of 112 High-street, Rye, were married on Saturday.

The bridegroom is a steward at the local Methodist Church, and the bride is a member of the choir, while both are Saturday School workers.

The Rev. J. S. Elmont officiated.

The bride was given away by her father, and Mr. R. Boreham was best man.

The only attandant was Miss Doreen Ralph (niece of the bride).

After the ceremony a reception, attended by about 60 guests, was held at Gungarden Hall, and later Mr. and Mrs. Kimpton left for there honeymoon, which is being spent in Brighton.

Mr. and Mrs. Kimpton, who will live at 38, New Winchelsea-Road, Rye, received more than 70 handsome presents.
