Re James Kimpton, of 19 Gensing Station-road, St. Leonards, Paperhanger.- This debtor filed his petition in the Hastings Court on the 14 inst., estimating his debts at 200. The first meeting of his creditors will take place at the offices of Messrs. Miller and Miller, No. 13 Sherborne-lane, London, on 2nd April, when they will determine what shall be done in the matter. Mr. Savery, of Hastings is the solicitor to the petition.

Re James Kimpton, of 19 Gensing Station-road, St. Leonards, Paperhanger and Decorator.- The first general meeting of creditors of this debtor took place at No. 13 Sherborne-lane, in the City of London, on 2nd inst., when Mr. H. N. Banks, of London, accountant, was appointed chairman. The statement of affairs presented by the debtor showed - Creditors unsecured, 174 7s. 10d. ; rent, rates, and taxes, 18 9s. ; and liabilities on bills discounted, 17; total debts, 209 16s 10d. Assets : stock-in-trade, 13 15s. ; furniture, etc., 10 ; total assets 23 15s. After some discussion, it was agreed to accept a composition of 5s. In the pound, by instalments of 2s. 6d. Each in two and four months from the date of the registration of the confirmatory resolution, and that security be given to the satisfaction of the chairman for the payment of the second instalment. A second meeting is fixed to take place on Monday next, at the same place, at three o'clock, to take the foregoing resolution into consideration. Mr. Savery was solicitor to the petition.
